Whether you’re celebrating with friends or loved ones, everyone deserves a touch of romance along with a little wining and dining on Valentine’s Day.

Guests choose 1 appetizer, 1 soup or salad each, and 1 main entree for $58.

Valentine’s Day Menu

APPETIZERS

Scallops St. Jaques

Scallops seared in clarified butter served on buttery whipped garlic mash, chive and truffle vinaigrette and crisp kale

or

Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin

Wild rice pancakes, braised cabbage buckwheat honey drizzle, puffed wild grains

or

Manitoban Wild Mushroom Ragout

Portabello, oyster, lobster, and chanterelle in a bed of truffle polenta, smoked cheddar foam, pine nuts, pea shoots

 

SOUPS/SALAD

Pear Salad

Pear, arugula, house cabbage aged balsamic, roasted hazelnuts, fresh basil,  Canadian blue Benedictine

or

French Onion Soup

Double smoked bacon, caramelized onions, green peas, with garlic croutons and new Bothwell smoked gouda

or

Mary’s Borscht

House made creme fraiche, beet hearts, preserved cabbage, smoked hemp seeds, dill oil. Served with a dill cream puff.

 

MAIN COURSE

Pineridge Coq Au Vin
Must be ordered for 2 people

Half a local pastured chicken gently poached in red wine root vegetables, pork lardons, croutons, local chanterelle mushrooms, pearl onions, on top of smooth garlic and thyme mashed potatoes

or

Chateaubriand

Sous vide Manitoba beef tenderloin, butter braised beets, grilled carrots, fried brussels, crisp potato rostï smoked butter hollandaise 

or

Trout Wellington

House-made puff pastry, saffron buttered leeks,  grilled asparagus, kale, prosciutto
