Sneak Peek - Jan's House Tour
Fri, Aug 23, 19
Pineridge Hollow's owner, Jan recently had the joy of designing her new home, situated on an acreage of 120 year old farmland. So, when someone - who is surrounded with design options on a daily basis and helps others design their own homes - is tasked with creating a space for themselves, what do they choose?
Here is part one of our home tour with Jan, a one room sneak peek!
The Living Room
"The design of the living room definitely revolved around the fireplace. The fireplace column goes up 24 feet and it is a big presence in the room."
Jan was inspired by this fireplace featured by Utah interior design company, Studio McGee.

"Throughout our home we focused on natural materials. White oak wood floors, shiplap ceilings, logs as a design element, hot rolled steel fireplace and exhaust fan hood, leather, wool rugs. The steel on the fireplace achieved the modern industrial farmhouse look we were going for."

"The walls and ceilings are white and there are so many windows in the space we needed a darker design element to anchor the room."

More of Jan's modern farmhouse design will be revealed in the blog over the next few months!
